Keep Your Beam at its Best

To keep your Beam Central Vacuum System working at its absolute best the system needs to be serviced on a regular basis. The next scheduled service is now due.

The service inspection is very comprehensive and consists of the following components:

✔️ POWER UNIT INSPECTION AND FULL CLEAN

  • Filter Check
    + We will remove, inspect and clean filter

  • Motor Check
    +
    Assessment of all motor related parts including Electronic Control Boards and Motor Brushes
    + Vacuum entire vicinity of the motor

  • Total Clean of Power Unit
    +
    Remove debris and disinfect bucket

✔️ DUCTING & INLET VALVE INSPECTION AND CLEAN

  • Ducting Inspection and disinfection of all pipe­work

  • Inlet Valve Inspection
    +
    Check to ensure all Inlet Valves working correctly
    + Clean all Inlet Valves from loose particles e.g. paper clips

✔️ PRESSURE CHECK

  • Test Vacuum Pressure before Service Test Vacuum

  • Pressure after Service

✔️ HOSE & ATTACHMENT INSPECTION

  • Check for any defects in Hose

  • Test and assess all Attachments

✔️ TEST & TAG

  • Test and assess Electrical integrity of system

For an investment from $195.00, one of our trained technicians will inspect your system as above and ensure that it is still operating at its optimum performance. Our technicians will confirm with you prior to fitting anything else that may be needed, but please note that any parts (such as filters, motor brushes, etc) needing replacing are an additional fee.

Our technicians also carry extra accessories with them so have a think about anything that you may wish to replace or any new accessories you may wish to purchase (i.e. turbo/spinning tools or garage hose sets great for cleaning the garage and cars!).

Please note that payment is due at the time unless arranged prior to the appointment. We accept Eftpos, Credit Card or Internet Banking.

How long will the service take?

Typically the full, comprehensive service takes around 1 hour 90 minutes

Do I need to be home for the service?

While it's ideal to have someone home so that we can discuss anything that comes up, you are most welcome to leave a key and our technician can lock up when leaving.

Having been a qualified and registered electrician since 1974, Peter has retained his electrical license allowing him to do all manner of jobs related to repairing or servicing your Beam system.

Peter manages our Service Department and is usually the main person that you will see for any home visits.

How much does the Service cost?

As mentioned above, the base service charge is $195.00 including GST. Any parts needing replacing (i.e. filters, motor brushes, etc) will be charged for additionally. Our service technician will confirm with you prior to fitting anything extra.
